Virtually every manufacturer requires water at some point in their manufacturing process. This water may be for use in a finished product, heating or cooling purposes, washing or rinsing, etc. Chances are good that some form of treatment is called for.

In all cases, the intended use of that water will go a long way in determining the method of treatment as will the quality of the water being treated. These treatment methods range from a simple settling tank & sand filter to a multi-stage reverse osmosis (R.O.) system.

No matter how simple or intricate the treatment regimen, pre- or post-filtration can be invaluable towards keeping the system utilizing that water running at peak efficiency.
